Payment Methods Accepted?

Credit Cards - we accept, Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover.

Checks - you can send us a check as payment, but your order will not be started until we receive the check. Please submit a printout of the shopping cart showing what you would like to order and include a street address where you would like it shipped.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Non-printed stock items ship within 24 hours. Printed envelopes have a production time of 3 - 5 working days. Custom-made envelopes will have a longer production time depending on the complexity of the order. Inserting takes 2 - 3 additional days. Additional time is also required to add latex or Peel & Seal to the flaps of envelopes.

How can I check the status of my order or get a tracking number?

You will receive an email notification from UPS when your order ships, which will include your tracking number. If you do not receive the UPS notification, email sales@envelopesdirect.com with your inquiry.

What about freight charges?

Order quantities of 5,000 or less that are placed online will be shipped UPS Ground at no charge. Orders over 5,000 will be charged freight in addition to the product pricing. All large envelopes 10 x 13 and 9 x 12 will incur freight charges. UPS Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air are available at your request, for an additional fee.

Do you send samples?

Yes, we are happy to supply free samples.

Can I order a quantity not shown?

Yes, we can sell envelopes in quantities from 500 to 50,000 or more. Please use the Contact Us button for help with this.

When will I see my proof?

Proofs are emailed or faxed within 24 hours. Please review your proof carefully and indicate if it is approved or if any changes are needed. Jobs will be held up until we receive a proof approval.

What art formats are acceptable?

Vector files, .Eps files, AI (Illustrator) files, .pdf.
We need the resolution to be 300 dpi or higher with the fonts converted to paths or outlines.

Unacceptable files - .jpg, .tif, .bmp, .gif, .png - these files are not camera-ready and will not have smooth edges for printing. We can redraw some files, additional charges may apply.

Some Microsoft Word files can be used. Please email the file to sales@envelopesdirect.com for evaluation.
